For a while now, the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard case has constantly been giving up the news with shocking discoveries about both parties. While people have already been pretty divided over the case and whose side to be on, Julia Fox has come out and supported Amber Heard. And people cannot stop talking about her comment on the whole situation.
Under a post regarding the case, Julia Fox commented taking Amber Heard’s side and her comment was rather interesting. “She (Amber Heard) never had the power in the relationship to be abusive to him (Johnny Depp). Did she hit him? Yes. Was it abuse? No. You need to have power to be able to abuse it. She was 25. He clearly was always way more powerful, including physically and financially,” Fox said. The tweet went viral on Twitter and people have are not pleased about it:

For the unversed, after the op-ed by Heard which accused Johnny Depp of being a domestic abuser, Depp has slapped Heard with a $50 million defamation case. I personally think that Julia’s comment is insensitive and ignorant. Age and gender have nothing to do with domestic abuse. I feel like while she is allowed to have her own opinions but this is pretty insensitive to genuine abuse victims.
