On July 22, Ranveer Singh shocked and pleasantly surprised the world when he posed nude for a photoshoot for Paper Magazine. The actor’s boldness did create quite the buzz – some positive and some negative. In fact, on Monday, July 25, an application was also filed with the Mumbai Police seeking the registration of an FIR against the 83 actor. And the FIR was filed for allegedly ‘hurting sentiments of women’. Since the pics of the shoot came out, many celebs were asked to comment on it, one of them being John Abraham. John Abraham who is busy promoting his upcoming movie Ek Villain Returns was asked to comment on Ranveer Singh’s nude photoshoot and the actor laughed it off and said he was also portrayed as a sex symbol in the movie Dostana.
Recently, when promoting Ek Villain Returns in Delhi, John Abraham was asked what he thought about Ranveer Singh’s nude photoshoot and the Dhoom actor laughed off the entire issue and said that he was also portrayed as a sex symbol in Dostana. He further recalled the whirlpool that was created after his beach scene in the movie where he is coming out of the waters bare-chested and in tight-fitted yellow swimming trunks.

Speaking about the time Dostana shooting, John Abraham said, “I also wanted to tell you that there are a lot of edited portions of Dostana that I still have.” Needless to say, his cheeky comment had the audience laughing out loud.

The comment John Abraham made was just an added punch to what Arjun Kapoor was saying. The Half Girlfriend actor defended Ranveer Singh and said that he did what he felt comfortable doing and it was his choice. He also added that having an opinion is fair but taking it beyond a point is not done. Arjun Kapoor further added that people should do what they deem is right and ignore the trolls.
