Okay, as someone who enjoys cheesy romances, I will say that I have watched my fair share of rom-coms. Most of them usually end with a fairytale ending where to couple end up engaged or something. Whether we like it or not, The Kissing Booth is one of the most popular rom-com movie franchises from Netflix. And this morning I woke up to the news that The Kissing Booth star Joey King is now engaged to Steven Piet. The couple’s pictures are right out of some fairytale!
A while back, Joey King and her boyfriend of over 3 years, Steven Piet, announced their engagement on Instagram through a carousel of adorable pictures from the occasion. Both of them paired the pictures with the most heartfelt cations ever. Joey captioned the pictures saying, “I never knew happiness could be so powerful that it can take the air from your lungs, overwhelming every part of you that you can’t help but feel your eyes well from the undeniable joy. I never knew that a persons presence and heart could feel like a real home. I never knew love could be so unquestionably beautiful. I never knew until you. The date was 2/2/22 when you asked me to marry you and made me the luckiest lady alive. I love you more than an Instagram caption could ever do justice. Steven Piet also posted his own set of pictures with the most romantic caption ever! He writes, “The weather was less than perfect. Cold. Windy. Joey King’s engagement ring has been designed by the jewellery company Mociun, based in Brooklyn. Founder and CEO of The Clear Cut, Olivia Landau, mentioned that the massive engagement ring costs somewhere between $20,000 (₹15,16,100) to $30,000 (₹22,74,300). Daaamn!
