Dilip Joshi Talks About The Absence Of Dayaben From ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, Says Happy That Fans Still Love The Show
Jethalal AKA Dilip Joshi, one of the most beloved characters on television, celebrates his birthday today. He is undoubtedly one of the best characters on the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Dilip Ji has always been impressive in his hilarious comic timings and has been acing it for the last 14 years now. Yes, that’s how long the show has been running. Another beloved character from the serial is Dayaben played by Disha Vakani. Sadly, the character has been missing from the show for a few years now and has also not seen a replacement either. The viewers have definitely missed seeing Jethalal and Dayaben’s little nok-jhok moments. There were many rumours about Dayaben returning to the show soon, so even Dilip Joshi has shared his feeling about the same.

In a recent interview, Dilip Joshi was asked about Dayaben returning to the show and if he misses her on the show. To this, the actor replied that they have been shooting without Disha Vakani ( Dayaben) for five years now. Dilip Joshi also added that only the production house will be able to say something on this matter and whether at all Disha Vakani plans on returning to the show. He further said that he is happy with the fact that the viewers have given the same love and attention to the show as before even in Dayaben’s absence, as per the report.

Dilip Joshi also added that the show has been running for so long now and if the comedy was not working or entertaining for the audience, the makers would have discontinued the show. Dilip Joshi further said that he enjoys shooting for the show and as a viewer finds it very entertaining.
