In the past two days, many Bollywood celebrities have also put out their statement to extend support to the students and their right to a strong education system. Ishaan Khatter
The Royals star took to his social media handle to share an empowering picture from the protest, and some other quotes and sayings from the revolutionaries. The carousel also had a picture of the Indian Constitution. In the caption, Ishaan Khatter called himself a student before being a professional, and showed solidarity with the resilience that the youth of the country had shown.
Nora Fatehi
In a long post on X (Former Twitter), popular actor Nora Fatehi penned a note on the importance of education in a student’s life, and how the youth deserves a fair and transparent system for it. The actor opined that the current situation was more than politics, and that it was humanity.
On July 23, many actors like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Ananya Panday, among others, had also put out a statement to support the youth of India. The hoped that there would be meaningful dialogues between the concerned parties to reach a conclusion that is in the interest of the students.
