As fans mourn the loss of their favourite team, a video of captain Hardik Pandya and his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, interacting post-match. Their gestures suggested that the cricketer was asking her to go home and contact him via phone. This clip went viral online and garnered massive hate from fans on the internet.

After their loss, while many other family members of the team looked visibly sad, Mahieka Sharma was seen smiling and conversing with Pandya via gestures.

The viral video caught the cricketer telling his girlfriend to go home and call him. Sharma was there with his son, Agastya Pandya. Apart from Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma, none of the batsmen could reach double figures, and the Mumbai Indians’ skipper also had a bad game after he bowled just two overs while giving away 38 runs. After this loss, fans slammed him for ‘not focusing’ on his game.
