Filmmaker Karan Johar is back with his iconic show Koffee With Karan, and after kick-starting the newest season with Salman Khan, the next super guests are the newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda. The promo has already excited a lot of their fans who love watching them together and has also caught a lot of criticism from a part of the internet after narrating their proposal story.
Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverakonda On Koffee With Karan
The promo for the episode begins with Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna opening up about the time they decided to get married. When Karan asked if there was a problem, the Cocktail actor revealed that her husband told her to ask him 100 times about getting married, and then she ended up convincing him, over a year, to have a wedding. Well, this statement did not sit well with a lot of social media users who started trolling Deverakonda for being “arrogant.” They criticised Rashmika for having to ask him to get married for a year and said that she was the one who loved him more. Many even said that she could have done better and said that she is a far better actor than him. Some even went on to compare their outfits to those of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
The promo then showed the two playing a rapid fire round where Rashmika was asked to pick between Allu Arjun and Ranbir Kapoor, where she picked the former. After this, Vijay was asked who he thought shared the best on-screen chemistry with him, to which, his wife was quick to jump in and say “nobody.” He then went on to say that the basic rule of a marriage is to always agree with the wife.
