Internet Trolls Mukesh Khanna After He Announces His Comeback As The Iconic Shaktimaan!

Remember the iconic Shaktimaan? The Indian superhero we loved and cherished? Well, Mukesh Khanna AKA Shaktimaan is returning at the age of 66. The Mahabharat actor donned the red Indian superhero costume and dominated the 1990s. While rumours circulated that a film based on the character was in the works, Mukesh confirmed that he would reprise his role as Shaktimaan.

He announced by donning the legendary costume and addressing the media. Although the actor appeared to be pleased about making a comeback, superhero fans were divided.

Mukesh Khanna Returns As Shaktimaan

In a conversation with ANI, Mukesh Khanna confirmed his return as the iconic Shaktimaan and also commented on the present generation. He said This is a costume within me…I think personally too, in my mind, this costume has come from within me…I did well in Shatimaan because it came from within me…Acting is all about confidence.” He further revealed how doing the role of Shaktimaan made him happy.

He said that he was carrying out the duty of Shaktimaan in 1997 which went on till 2005. He said that his work should reach the audience in 2027 because today’s generation was running blindly. He said that today’s generation should be stopped and told to catch a breath.

Fans React To Mukesh Khanna’s Comeback

Fans were not happy with the actor’s comeback. One user commented, “Don’t ruin Shaktiman pls, don’t do it” while another one said, “Dude is stuck in the past. Someone should speak sense to him.” The users were not happy with Khanna’s arrogant behaviour. One user commented, “He has become a clown. Someone please give him a Rajya Sabha and save my childhood nostalgia. What a fall!”
