Internet Slams Bhumi Pednekar After She Calls Out Foul Language Of CJP Protesters Instead Of Police Violence
Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram and shared a long video expressing her views on the language used in some of the viral videos from the protest.
Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar has found herself in the midst of a controversy after she made a video about the Jantar Mantar protests held due to the NEET-UG 2026 leak. She spoke about the “insulting language” used by the students against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and advised them to not show rage since it doesn’t represent the culture of our country. Bhumi Pednekar On Student Protest
Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram and shared a long video expressing her views on the language used in some of the viral videos from the protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She said that he was at the higher office and called out the behaviour of many students and said that this was not “our culture.” She also asked the youth to express their wishes courteously. Pednekar further compared this situation to one’s interaction with elders in their family and asked how the use of foul language publicly. She pointed out how culture was an integral part of India and added that many were letting go of the values of a meaningful conversation and how this has made progress difficult. She further suggested that the youth must address difficult conversations of gender-based violence and education with dignity.

Bhumi Pednekar’s video did have people who had agreed to her, but others questioned her stance on the situation. It was met with severe criticism after many slammed her for not addressing the police brutality on students. One user asked the actor if the use of foul language could be compared to the cruelty of using guns at students who were peacefully protesting. Other users asked her if she would make such a video questioning the ministers who too have used such language, and that it was easy for her to speak in her air conditioned car. They questioned why Bhumi had not spoken about the situations that led to a protest in the first place.
