About Varun Dhawan

Soon after the video of Varun Dhawan came out, many expressed disappointment with his choice of attire for the temple visit and urged him to dress “appropriately.” One user wrote, “Went to the temple in a stupid dress and he is seeking blessings now.” Another asked why he couldn’t just wear a shirt during this visit and said that it was very ignorant of him. The actor has yet to respond to all these allegations as of now. Meanwhile, he is currently gearing up for the release of his next film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, directed by his father, David Dhawan.

Ahead of the release, the film found itself in trouble after producer Vashu Bhagnani’s production house Puja Entertainment moved the Bombay High Court against them. This lawsuit was also filed against Tips Industries Limited, Ramesh Taurani, and Kumar S Taurani for using the ‘Chunnari Chunnari’ song from his 1999 film called Biwi No. 1 in this Varun Dhawan film featuring Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur without permission. Taurani from Tips addressed this controversy during the trailer launch and said that there was no issue “affecting the film.”
