During his act, Sukrut played a drunk man and stayed fully in the role the entire time. He did not break character even once. When host Samay Raina tried to make a funny remark, Sukrut kept going without reacting. He stayed deep in his performance even when Alia Bhatt walked up and called for a cut.
In the end, Sukrut Deo recited a poem about what it really means to be an artist. His honest words made everyone’s hearts warm. Everyone, including the judges and the guest stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari stood up and clapped for him.
Not just this, a video from the show later showed the Marathi theatre artist crying. Following which, Balraj Ghai walked over and gave him a big hug.
