Himanshi Khurana Reveals She Went Into Severe Depression After ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Reality Shows Can Affect Mental Health!

If you will ask people why they watch reality TV shows, most of them will say that they love all the drama and fights. But what about the people who go through all this negativity and how does it affect them? Well, Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana, who participated in season 13 of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss opened up about her experience and revealed that she went into severe depression after the show. 

Actress and model Himanshi Khurana recently said that participating in Bigg Boss13 affected her mental health badly and it took her a lot of time to recover from it. During an interview, she revealed that she went into severe depression after coming out of the show which is hosted by Salmaan Khan. Himanshi Khurana mentioned that working on a reality show like Bigg Boss was not a good experience for her as the negativity inside the BB house caused her severe depression and that she is still recovering from it.

The Shava Ni Girdhari Lal actress also added that she used to get panic attacks before attending any events, shoots, and even while she was dancing at singer and former BB contestant Afsana Khan’s wedding. Himanshi Khurana said that because of her mental health, she had a heart issue and was rushed to the hospital.

Earlier, another Bigg Boss contestant Eijaz Khan who entered the BB 14 house also talked about reliving the trauma of the show and said that he can’t watch it as it triggers him.

There is no doubt that reality shows are becoming more problematic with each passing day and experiencing such negativity and constant fights can affect people’s mental health badly.
