The announcement that Nitesh Tiwary will be making a film Ramayana left the fans quite excited. This was also because Ranbir Kapoor has been finalised to ace the lead role of Ram in the film. However, there were no clarifications on who would be playing Sita, the opposite of Ranbir Kapoor’s Ram. Many reports claimed Sai Pallavi would be playing the role. However, in recent updates on the same, it has been reported that Janhvi Kapoor has finalized the role of Sita and not Sai Pallavi. As of now, there are no official statements from the makers.

They also expressed their concerns about the new Ramaya and hoped that it would not turn out to be like Adipurush.
