One of the veteran actors who is still killing it with her performances has to be none other than Shabana Azmi. I mean, the woman is like fine wine, getting better and better with every passing year! And to prove that one again, she has taken on a Hollywood project. Yep, Shabana Azmi took to Instagram to unveil her very first look from the live-action series, Halo. In fact, cheering her on her newly-wed daughter-in-law Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar, who shared the post on her story and called it incredible!

Shabana Azmi shared her first look as Admiral Parangosky in Halo – a live-action series produced by Steven Spielberg. In her post, the actor even revealed that this was her very first “colour blind casting”. Seeing the post, Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and even her daughter-in-law and actor Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar cheered her on.

Sharing the first look from Halo, Shaban Azmi wrote, “As Admiral Parangosky in HALO – my first colour blind casting! releasing 24th March.” To that, Farhan Akhtar commented that he “can’t wait” to see her in the series while Zoya Akhtar gave her multiple clapping hands and a fire emoji.
Even Shibani Dandekar, who recently married Farhan Akhtar, shared multiple stories cheering Shabana Azmi. In one of the stories, she wrote, “This is incredible. Cannot wait to @azmishabana8 in @halotheseries. March 24th super excited super proud.” She even commented on the actor’s post “phenomenal!!! Can’t wait for this! ❤️”
