Cannes 2023: “Great To Be Back,” Guneet Monga Walks The Red Carpet As Part Of The Indian Delegation

It’s Cannes time! And from Instagram to news, the world’s biggest film festival updates are everywhere. Well, this time, it’s more special for India, as we have many celebs and social media influencers representing the country at Cannes. The Oscar-winning documentary Elephant Whisperers’ producer Guneet Monga also walked the 76th Cannes red carpet on Day 2. She shared her experience and also thanked the Indian government for the golden opportunity. Guneet Monga opted for traditional attire for her debut at the prestigious film festival.

On May 18, Thursday, Guneet Monga penned a heartwarming note on her Cannes red carpet experience. She expressed herself with just the right words and also thanked the Indian government for the incredible opportunity. Guneet Monga was a member of the Indian delegation that went to Cannes. In the note, The Elephant Whisperers producer expressed her pride in celebrating world cinema and representing India on the global stage. She also conveyed her happiness about seeing Indian cinema being appreciated and loved on the world stage. She was also excited to be back for the festival of Cannes and was extremely delighted to connect with friends and colleagues in the film fraternity.

Guneet Monga opted for a plain satin golden saree. Her outfit was accessories with a brooch, small pair of earrings and a golden hand purse. She looked elegant and posed with the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr L. Murugan and Kangabam Tomba, a Manipuri actor. Guneet Monga and The Elephant Whisperers’ director Kartiki Gonsalves made India proud by winning the Oscars 2023. The former had expressed her happiness about this win!
