During a press meet in Chennai on Saturday, Tamil actor Ravi Mohan announced he will not return to films until his divorce from estranged wife Aarti Ravi is complete. He opened up about the controversy around his marriage and his relationship with singer-spiritual therapist Keneeshaa Francis. His statements have created a stir online. Ravi Mohan looked tired and upset as he spoke to the media. He stated that he will not take up any new films until his divorce from Aarti Ravi is done. The actor said the past two years have been very difficult because of public pressure and online bullying. He stated that he needs peace in his life before he can return to acting.

The actor talked about his broken relationship with Keneeshaa Francis. Ravi Mohan said that due to online harassment, she was forced to leave him. He wished her a happy and peaceful life ahead. The actor also claimed that he had suffered years of mental pressure and humiliation from his wife’s side. He said he felt trapped like a slave in his own house for a long time and added that he has proof to support his claims.

Ravi Mohan further added that he is not being allowed to meet his two sons, Aarav and Ayaan. Without naming anyone directly, he pointed out interference from some people in his private life. Many believed one of his comments was aimed at veteran actress Khushbu Sundar, who is a close friend of Aarti Ravi’s family.

Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meerra Chopraa also defended him. She described Ravi as a kind and simple man and said men deserve to be heard too in such cases.
