Farhan Akhtar Finally Addresses Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 Feud, Says THIS

Farhan Akhtar recently broke his silence after the feud that happened between his production company and Ranveer Singh.

Ever since the news about Ranveer Singh’s exit from Don 3 surfaced, fans were truly shocked and looked forward to finding out what would happen next. Amid this, neither the Dhurandhar: The Revcenage star nor Farhan Akhtar openly spoke about this. While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter India Farhan Akhtar shared that what he has learned is to expect the unexpected, adding nothing can be taken for granted until you actually have it on film. He further recounted the pleasant experiences he had in his career and being unfazed by coming across an occasional hurdle. Farhan feels that from the time that he began, from that moment when Aamir Khan, Akashye Khanna, Preity Zinta and more came and said let’s make that film, from that moment on, he had the most incredible ride. 

The filmmaker expressed that it has just been about working with the people he wants to work with, whether directing them or acting in films that he wants to act in with directors. Farhan also said that one realises that at some point, there will be a period that’s going to be a little bit more challenging. He said, “You have had it good, so it’s okay… Just take it in your stride.”

Here’s What You Need To Know

It all started when Ranveer Singh decided to exit Don 3, post Dhurandhar’s success. However, this issue was not being resolved easily, as the Producers Guild of India had to be involved, where it was claimed that Rs 40 crores were spent by Excel during pre-production. Ranveer reportedly alleged that Don 3 was put on the back burner. However, they were asked to resolve this matter amicably. 

A recent report also mentioned that the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani star had agreed to return Rs 10 crores to Excel. It was also claimed that he would compensate for the pre-production amount by offering a stake in his next film. But as per Screen’s report, sources close to Excel denied these claims, adding that the talks are still ongoing and, according to them, nothing has been finalised as of yet.
