The host of the show, Siddhaarth Aalambayan, asked Shruti during his conversation what feminism means to her. To this, the Pitta Kathalu actress said that the first example in her life is her own mother, her mother’s friends and teachers and those women in her life who set an example of ‘grace’. Shruti Haasan also spoke about how feminism means understanding the ‘opposition’ to the movement and also understanding where she stands in that whole scenario. She also said, “I don’t want to associate myself with a cluster but want to be a positive female force to the women and men in my life.”

We love how Shruti is never afraid to speak her mind and always has crystal-clear thoughts. Feminism has been a topic of debate and it is quite evident that Shruti is open to having conversations surrounding the topic to get a better understanding of what the opposite person thinks! And that is exactly how this dynamic should function. Instead of jumping to conclusions and bashing the entire movement, people should try and understand the core of it.
