Sophie Choudhary On Casting Couch Issue
During the exclusive chat, Sophie Choudry said, “When I first came to Mumbai, I entered as a singer, and I had already launched a few albums. And I also had this urge to try out acting, so I met a few people, while some of them were good, others made suggestions and remarks that I wasn’t comfortable with. My mom laughs about it now, because back then we didn’t understand what people meant by ‘compromises’ and ‘adjustments.’

So when I finally understood, I walked away from quite a few things, including many big ones. There’s also this perception that people who come from abroad are ‘easy.’ So, people say, ‘One more won’t make a difference,’ but what one more? You don’t know what you’re talking about. The best one is, ‘I want to meet you, I want to spend as much time as I can with my heroine, or ‘My marriage is going through a bad patch.”
She concluded by saying, “After listening to such things, you realise that those people would never make films but are just wasting your time.” Sophie Choudry was last seen making a special appearance in Love S*x Aur Dhokha 2.
