Rajeev Khandelwal On Televsion
During an interview with us, Showtime star Rajeev Khandelwal opened up about the gaps that existed in Television back in the day and persist. Rajeev firmly stated, “I don’t watch television anymore. They are not giving me any reason to watch television, for me, I am saying. What I think was lacking back in the day was that the stories on television did not come to an end, they were killed. And that’s not how it should be.” Elaborating on the same, he said, “I had requested the makers to do seasons, instead of dragging a serial till a point it dies. However, many makers failed to understand because I think, a lot of profit for the makers or the broadcasters also lies in the fact that the longer it continues, the more money they make. But I think if they limit the time, maybe we will get better quality of storytelling and emotions, otherwise it’s just like you come on the set, and have only 10 emotions set to play.”
