Reality shows are our guilty pleasure and if there’s one show that we enjoy watching apart from Bigg Boss, it’s Khatron Ke Khiladi. The reality show is set to return with season 13 and the list of final contestants includes some leading stars like Kundali Bhagya actress Ruhi Chaturvedi among several others. Ahead of the stars flying out to shoot for the show, we had a candid chat with Ruhi Chaturvedi and it looks like landing Khatron Ke Khiladi was no coincidence for her. The actress revealed that she actually manifested the show! She also shared how she told her dad, who vowed to never let her go for Khatron Ke Khiladi, about signing the show!

Speaking to us on a call, the Kundali Bhagya actress shared that she used to watch Khatron Ke Khiladi back when Akshay Kumar was the host and she was a student. It looks like Ruhi Chaturvedi did not just land the reality show because she has been manifesting it for a long time.
“I have been manifesting Khatron Ke Khiladi for the longest time. I remember when Akshay Kumar used to host the show, I used to watch the show and wonder when I’ll get a chance to do this show and at that time, I wasn’t even an actor. I was a student at that time. And my dad would always say, “No, no, I can’t let you go and do something so stupid. I can’t risk your life and all that.” And now when it happened, I realised that manifesting has to be from your heart and it will come true,” said the Kundali Bhagya actress.

Revealing how she told her father about signing Khatron Ke Khiladi, Ruhi Chaturvedi said, “My dad wasn’t in town when I signed the contract for Khatron Ke Khiladi. We waited for a month for him to come back to tell him and just 2 days before he was supposed to return the news leaked. So, my mom has this habit of googling me twice or thrice a day to see kya news aaya hai. And I was telling my husband that before they google and find out, it’s better than I tell them because it’s not good that your parents find out things about you from the news. So, I called him up and told him about it and he was really upset. 3-4 gaaliyan di unhone ne mujhe achi wali but then he accepted it and gave me advice for the show.”

Ruhi Chaturvedi seems to have manifested what she wanted and it’s time we take a book out of her page and put our heart and soul into manifesting our desires. We also can’t help but find it adorable how Ruhi’s dad, who vowed to never let her take the risk of going on the reality show, quickly got on board with her and even gave her advice! Having said that, we wish the actress loads of luck as she gears up to face her fears on Khatron Ke Khiladi.
