According to Kritika, a major red flag in any person is their inclination to offer unsolicited advice on how she should dress or present herself. She pointed out that while some may genuinely believe they have good intentions, the underlying message of such remarks can be rather off-putting. Comments like “tum jaisi ho waisi hi sundar ho” (you’re beautiful just the way you are) or “tumhe kya zarurat hai” (what’s the need for it) may seem harmless, but Kritika firmly expressed, “I am not a fan of this.”

The Bambai Meri Jaan actor emphasized that her personal style and choices are a form of self-expression, and she enjoys dressing up for herself. Whether it’s wearing makeup or opting for a minimalist look, Kritika believes that her choices are hers to make. She highlighted the importance of acknowledging that complimenting someone’s appearance can be done in a positive and empowering manner, without implying that they need validation or approval.

Kritika advocated for a more supportive and respectful approach when expressing admiration for someone’s appearance. Instead of questioning why someone wears makeup, she suggested a more uplifting conversation that focuses on appreciating their choices. She firmly believes that there are better ways to convey appreciation without inadvertently implying that the person in question doesn’t need makeup. She said, “There are better way of telling me that you like the way I look, rather than saying ki you don’t need this, why do you wear makeup.”
