Popular actor Daisy Shah has been in the film industry for a long time now, making her mark. While the actress often makes headlines for her films, her personal life isn’t much available to her fans. But in a recent conversation with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan, Daisy Shah opened up about why she hasn’t gotten married. She said that she didn’t want to get settled since she was already financially stable. Check out the episode here!

What Daisy Shah Said

When asked if she was often asked about getting married, Daisy Shah said that her mom and sister used to force her to get married. She said, “But my uncle used to say that she is an independent girl, and why would she settle when she’s already doing good for herself. Today, my mom is okay with me not getting married, too. And the kind of men I am seeing these days is making me not want to get married. The men that I have met in my life have always tried to become the “man” of my family since my father died, which I did not find was okay.

It is also becoming difficult because I have come across many people who can’t handle strong women. There’s also a lot of insecurity behind it because lately, whoever I’ve met has been like that. I am so secure in my life that I don’t need a man to complete me financially because I am already well-to-do. In previous times, settling used to mean being financially settled with a man and having kids, but today’s times have changed. Though many women in the metropolitan regions have evolved from this mindset, these things still happen in small towns.”
