Ayesha Khan On Financial Literacy

Bigg Boss fame Ayesha Khan had a fun and insightful conversation with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist host Siddhaarth Aalambayan. During the segment on Financial Independence, Ayesha put forth her opinion and said, “Why do we use the word financial independence only for women, and do not say it for the men because we think that it’s their responsibility? So it’s not just women who face struggles but men to have a lot of problems to deal with in their lives. So talking about this independence, just like any other man or an adult, I did the same for myself. I do not to use the phrase Oh I am finally financially independent now, it’s my job as a 21-year-old adult. I see it as a responsibility towards my family and myself.”

Ayesha Khan also addressed a very interesting question about whether she splits the bill on dates or not. In her response, the actor said, “I have had relationships where I have not had to pay, there are somewhere we split and sometimes I pay, so gender particularly does not come into question here. As a woman, I want my partner to pay for me as an expression that he cares for me, and sometimes I want to pay for him to show him the same. So, it’s not about gender here, and I feel that a man and woman both complete each other.”
