Netflix’s ‘Eternally Confused And Eager For Love’ Teaser Seems Like A Hilariously Relatable Attack On All Our Love Lives
I feel like while OTT platforms have really contributed very majorly to how our generation consumes entertainment, it has a few downfalls too. I feel like sometimes the artistic freedom that OTT platforms provide a creator might end up with the end product being messy that is not very well received. Hence, whenever trailers or teasers with fresh and interesting concepts within upcoming shows come up, I am more than enthused to give it a shot. At least that’s how I felt when I watched the teaser of the upcoming Eternally Confused And Eager For Love which is a Netflix collaboration with Tiger Baby and Excel Media. The show has been directed by Rahul Nair and the teaser features Vihaan Samat, Rahul Bose, Suchitra Pillai, Jim Sarbh, Ankur Rathee and Dalai. The show is all set to release on March 18, 2022.
Now, what is so special about these Netflix collaborations? Excel Media is behind movies such as Talaash, Gully Boy and Raees. Tiger Baby was also a co-producer for Gully Boy along with Excel Media. Now considering what a brilliant movie Gully Boy was, I cannot wait to see how this collaboration with Netflix is going to end up. From what I have seen so far, Eternally Confused And Eager For Love has all the potential to do well.

So, what is Eternally Confused And Eager For Love about? The story follows the protagonist, Ray who is trying to navigate adult life and more importantly dating as an adult in the 21st century (we’re all in the same boat here). He does this with the help of Wiz, a personification of Ray’s inner voice who tells him what he can or cannot say. Eternally Confused And Eager For Love revolves around Ray trying to figure out if he wants love sex or a relationship and getting into misadventures and mishaps in his workplace and personal life in the process. Sidenote: Vihaan Samat (who plays Ray) lowkey looks like a mix of Ross (appearance) and Chandler (personality) from Friends and I am here for it.
With a unique concept, strong foundation and a great star cast, I feel like Eternally Confused And Eager For Love has all the potential of being a good series. I really hope they are able to bring the project to fruition and can’t wait to see what’s more to come!
