Twitter Can Hardly Believe Kangana Ranaut’s Tranformation As Indira Gandhi For ‘Emergency’ And We Can Totally Relate
Say what you want, but there is no denying that Kangana Ranaut is one of the finest actors of this generation. Almost every single performance she has given, she has nailed it and how. And this time around is going to be no different – especially after watching the first look teaser of Emergency. Oh boy, has she nailed playing the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi! For those unversed, a short first look teaser clip of Emergency was dropped and having watched it, I can definitely say it was worth the wait. From her mannerisms to the way she looks, Kangana Ranaut has nailed every single aspect of former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi and fans have taken to Twitter to gush about how epic her transformation is.
On July 14, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media to share the first look teaser of Emergency and it is in there that you can see the actress completely transform into former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. I mean, the resemblance is so uncanny.

The first look teaser of Emergency begins with the phone ringing and the PM’s secretary receiving the call. He then goes to Indira Gandhi (played by Kangana Ranaut) to tell her that the former United States Secretary, Henry Kissinger was on the line asking whether Richard Nixon could address her as ‘madam’ during their phone call. The PM gives an affirmative and dismisses the secretary before stopping him and telling him to inform the US secretary that everyone in her office calls her ‘sir’ and not ‘madam’. The teaser ends with a woman announcing that Indira Gandhi has declared a state of emergency which is the main focus of the film.
Needless to say, no sooner did the first look of Kangana Ranaut as former PM Indira Gandhi come out than the fans were left in a pleasant shock. Twitter could not believe how well she had transformed herself.
