Ektaa Kapoor Confirms The Dirty Picture 2!
The producer has shared a huge announcement on the Ranveer Allahabadia podcast. While talking about her projects that she is currently working on, Ektaa Kapoor revealed that The Dirty Picture 2 is one of the biggest projects that she has been working on. According to the producer, Ektaa Kapoor is finally planning the film after 15 years, and she has confirmed that there is a story that she wants to tell. Talking about the film, the producer said that the story will yet again revolve around a woman and will have a significant topic to raise; however, she refrained from sharing many details about this project.
Ektaa Kapoor also shared her thoughts on Silk Smita, the protagonist of The Dirty Picture and said she did not see her as a victim. According to her, she was a woman who received backlash for standing up for her s*xuality, which is her choice, and therefore Ektaa Kapoor never viewed her as a victim.
The Dirty Picture also featured Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor.
