Dutch Singer, Emma Heesters, Melts Desi Hearts With Her Version Of Aditya A’s ‘Chaand Baaliyan’

Thanks to Instagram reels, today any song can become a fan favourite. From Pushpa’s ‘Srivalli’ to Aditya A’s ‘Chaand Baaliyan’, there are so many songs that have gone viral. But what I love most about it, is the fact that there are many singers on Instagram that come up with their own versions. Take, for instance, this Dutch singer by the name of Emma Heesters. She is one of the few artists who has made our desi hearts melt with her covers of songs like ‘Bijlee Bijlee’, ‘Kusu Kusu’, ‘Arabic Kuthu’, ‘Jhootha Pyar’, and many more. And now she’s back with yet another Indian song, ‘Chaand Baaliyan’, and I’m in love with it!

Emma Heesters recently took to her Instagram to share a video of her singing Aditya A’s popular track ‘Chaand Baaliyan’ and people are going crazy over her voice! Needless to say, the Dutch singer has gotten over 1lakh views and 2000+ comments.

Let me just confess that this song has also become a favourite of mine. I mean, I listen to this song at least once a day and now that I’m writing about it, I may have easily just heard this song a zillion times over. But am I going to stop anytime soon? I really think not. It is just so melodious and I love the lyrics. Am I a fan of this song? Guilty as charged.
