She has reacted to the claims made by Komal Rani Swarnkar about the couple’s marriage and the dating rumours. Divya Khossla bashed Govinda for not taking a strong stand against the accusations. Divya Khossla On Govinda, Sunita Ahuja Controversy
The actor-director took to her social media to pen a lengthy note, and started by highlighting how our society has been a polygamous one for years, and the courage that it took for our earlier generations to fight and make their daughters independent. Divya said that it took a big revolution to make our society a monogamous one where women can educate themselves, stand on their feet and hold their ground. She further added that the controversies on social media have left her wondering and questioning many things.
Divya Khossla spoke highly about Govinda and said that she grew up watching his films. She also revealed that Govinda was her mother’s favourite actor. Divya Khossla further hailed Sunita Ahuja as a loyal woman who gave her all in a marriage, the woman behind the actor’s success. She went on to bash the public scrutiny on social media and call out the continuous appearances of Govinda with his rumoured girlfriend. She criticised the promotion of polygamy and wondered about the kind of message being sent to future generations. She slammed the display and spectacle of such affairs at various places, including religious sites, and further wrote, “plotting to call your wife a murderer is the last resort a spineless man could stoop to.” She requested Govinda not to set a bad example while sympathising with the pain and traumas of Sunita Ahuja.
For the unversed, Komal Rani Swarnkar had recently reacted to the dating rumours with Govinda. She claimed that she could break a marriage that was already broken, and further accused Sunita Ahuja of trying to harm Govinda since many years.
