He added that they do not greet people with a simple hello but instead use the Korean word annyeonghaseyo. Many fans believed this was a clever reply aimed at the Grammys. They called the moment classic RM behavior and cheered him for staying true to his roots.

Fans praised him even more because of another change he made earlier. At the New Jersey Day 1 show, RM adjusted the lines to say that haters will hate and players will play, then noted that the members were born in Korea, and that is why some people still do not understand them. For those of you who don’t know, BTS are choosing not to enter their music for the 2027 Grammy Awards. The decision comes after the Recording Academy created a new category called Best Asian Pop Music Performance.
