The actor said that many men, and not women have asked or rather advised her to get a lip filler because the lips are too thin, or get br*ast enhancements. The actor also shed light on how the definition of perfection has become all about the outer appearance, and how a person looks instead of the well-being of the mind and body. The actor also added how just suggestions affected her confidence, despite having so many achievements. The actor also believes that such mindset will be changed by women themselves, by challenging such notions through the choices they make.
While talking about the industry standards, Dia Mirza opined that it is primarily controlled by men who used fear as the tool, and the actor also added they drive the industry on these insecurities, when women reject their natural features. Dia Mirza further spoke on cosmetic surgeries and opined that as long a woman feels it and makes that choice for herself, instead of making it because of others.
