As a millennial, I can assure you that if someone were to ask us to name a lenge dry star from the 1940s to 1980s, there are very few names we would recall and one of them being Dev Anand. There’s no way we can forget the legendary actor’s era. And today, on Dev Anand’s 100th birth anniversary, yesteryear starlet Zeenat Aman penned a heartwarming note for her Hare Rama Hare Krishna co-star.

Sharing a picture of herself with Dev Anand, Zeenat Aman penned a long note to celebrate “100 Years of Dev Saab”. Remembering her Heera Panna co-star, Zeenat Aman highlighted how the actor was incomparable while adding that he sparked her career put together creative minds and made films that remain relatable to all generations. Hailing the late actor, Zeenat revealed that even though she recently posted a whole series about the actor, she couldn’t resist the nostalgia of her pics with the late actor from their earlier films together, Hare Rama Hare Krishna and Heera Panna.

In a previous series about Dev Anand on Instagram, Zeenat Aman had called the actor her “Starmaker”. Recalling how she was ready to go back home after failing in the film industry in the 1970s, the actress shared that at that time Dev Anand was casting for Hare Rama Hare Krishna and eventually ended up casting her and even convinced her mother to stay back in the country for the film.

In another post, she remembered working with the late actor in Heera Panna. Pointing out that back then the age gap between her and Dev Anand was about 30 years, she revealed that he never saw her as a romantic lead and cast her in the titular role of Panna in Heera Panna.
