Pop star Taylor Swift is currently gearing up to marry her fiancé, Travis Kelce, and fans want to know about the process of their favourite star’s big day. And amid the reported venue and the rumoured guest list, her wedding dress has also been a topic of discussion. Fresh reports suggest that her dress will be inspired by Elizabeth Taylor’s first wedding dress when she tied the knot with Conrad Hilton, Paris Hilton’s great uncle, in 1950.

As per the Daily Mail, Taylor Swift’s love for the Cleopatra actress has been obvious after she named a song in her newest album called Life of a Showgirl after her. The song is called ‘Elizabeth Taylor.’ The report stated, “Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamoured with the movie queen’s style.” And when she started looking for her special dress, this was the only one she looked at.

Sources told the publication that the singer had admired Elizabeth’s wedding outfit since it was ‘old-fashioned’ and came with a waistline. She was also a fan of the lace detailing.  For the unversed, Taylor was famously married seven times before dying in March 2011 at the age of 79. Hilton was her first husband, whom she married when she was 18, and they divorced after barely eight months. She went on to marry British actor Michael Wilding (1952-1957), producer Mike Todd (1957-1958), singer Eddie Fisher (1959-1964), actor Richard Burton (1975-1976), politician John Warner (1976-1982), and construction worker Larry Fortensky (1991–1996).
