Many might also know that the actress is currently gearing up for a new films titled King and Raaka alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Allu Arjun respectively. According to HT Digital, a source revealed that Deepika Padukone will be shooting during her pregnancy. The report mentioned that she is filming intense action sequences for her and Allu Arjun starrer Raaka. It is being said that the actress and the makers have taken all the precautions while shooting for the same. The report also mentioned that, given that the said film and King have announced their release dates and are on a tight schedule, the Chennai Express star wants to stick to them, adding that she will opt to shoot for the film throughout her pregnancy.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their Instagram handle and shared a joint post announcing their pregnancy. The post featured a cropped picture of her and Ranveer Singh’s daughter Dua holding a positive pregnancy test. The actress simply captioned it with the evil eye protecting emojis. Many celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Shreya Ghoshal, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra, Huma Qureshi, Vikrant Massey, and more congratulated the actress.

For the unversed, she and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their first child, a daughter whom they named Dua, in 2024. Now, fans are excited to watch her in the upcoming projects titled Raaka and King.
