‘Dahaad’ Teaser: Sonakshi Sinha Is Ready To Fight For What Is Right In This Bizarre Murder Mystery!

There are not many actresses who have played cops in films, and it is kaafi disappointing. Even though we now have Shilpa Shetty joining Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as the first female cop in the franchise, and Rani Mukerji in Mardaani, we need more actresses in this badass role. And looks like Sonakshi Sinha is here to grant us our wish. She is going to pay a cop in her upcoming series Dahaad, and she took to her Instagram to share the teaser of the same. Created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, Dahaad is a crime murder mystery which also stars Vijay Verma, Gulshan Devaiah, and other actors in prominent roles. The teaser begins with a voiceover revealing details about a murder case where 27 girls have lost their lives. The girls went missing initially, and were later found dead. There are no clues or evidence, no missing persons complaint filed or even witnesses in this bizarre case. But one woman has risen to fight this battle. The teaser also gave a glimpse of Vijay Verma. Sonakshi Sinha shared the Dahaad teaser by writing in the caption that she is ready to fight for what is right. She also wrote the trailer of the series will be out on May 3, 2023.

We are looking forward to seeing Sonakshi Sinha in this role. She looks tough and intense in the teaser and will not any hurdle stop her from getting to the depth of this case. There were no dialogues in the teaser so that bit is left for the trailer. It will also be interesting to see what kind of roles Vijay Verma and Gulshan Deviah play in this murder mystery.
