Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar Targeted Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor And Bhumi Pednekar, Reportedly Showered Them With Gifts
Ever since the news of conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s involvement with Bollywood actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi hit the headlines, the actresses have been under the radar of the investigating agency, the Enforcement Directorate (ED). And now a latest report has claimed that the ED probe has revealed new information about targets of Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The new names that have come to light are of Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
The ongoing investigation has revealed that conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail for allegedly extorting Rs 215 crore from Ranbaxy owner Aditi Singh, had also targetted actresses Sara Ali Khan in May 2021, Janhvi Kapoor in July 2021 through his wife and Bhumi Pednekar in January 2021. According to an exclusive report by India Today, the conman allegedly used extorted money to send gifts to the three actresses in a bid to woo them.
What Happened With Sara Ali Khan?
Conman Sukesh Chandrashekar had approached Sara Ali Khan and introduced himself as an actor named Suraj Reddy on WhatsApp messages. He later told the actress that he wanted to gift her a car. He claimed that his CEO Pinky Irani tried contacting the actress and went on to text Sara and insisted on sending her gifts. The Enforcement Directorate questioned the Kedarnath actress recently regarding the gifts and she revealed that she refused to accept anything from the conman on multiple occasions but agreed to accept chocolates from him but he sent her a Franck Muller luxury watch along with the chocolates, as per the information sources gave to India Today.

What Happened With Janhvi Kapoor?
As per the India Today report, Sukesha Chandrashekar targeted Janhvi Kapoor via his wife Leena Maria Paul. She approached the actress posing as the owner of a salon and invited her for the opening of the same in Bengaluru. The actress inaugurated the salon and was paid over Rs 18 lakhs. The report suggests that the conman used the money extorted from Aditi Singh to give Janhvi Kapoor gift items worth over Rs 18 lakhs including a bag from Christian Dior. The actress has reportedly submitted her bank account details along with her statement to the ED.

What Happened With Bhumi Pednekar?
In Bhumi Pednekar’s case, conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar reached out to the actress through his associate Pinky Irani who posed as the Vice President HR of a news portal named News Express Post. Irani told the actress that the chairman of the organisation, Suraj, wanted to meet her to discuss a project while adding that he’s a fan of hers and wants to gift her a car as well. The conman got in touch with Bhumi the following day and told her the same. However, as per the India Today report, the actress has stated that she did not get any gifts from the conman or any of his aliases or associates.
