Twitter Emotional Over Elsa Pataky’s Gesture For Chris Hemsworth’s Alzheimer’s Concerns

To have a partner who helps you through your insecurities and face your fears is truly a blessing. Acknowledging your partner’s fears and being supportive of them when they are at their lowest is true love. And an example of true love was set by Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky recently. It is learned that the Thor actor is more genetically prone to developing Alzheimer’s disease, and this has left him scared that he will not remember his wife and kids. In a video that has gone viral, Elsa is seen getting ready to transform into an elderly lady for Chris to see so that he will remember what she looks like when she gets old. Our hearts cannot handle this!

In November last year, Chris Hemsworth announced in the episode of Limitless With Chris Hemsworth that he has two copies of the genes that are linked with Alzheimer’s disease which puts him eight to ten times more prone to developing it. Hence, to ease Chris’ fears, Elsa Pataky decided to dress like an 87-year-old version of herself with the help of prosthetics and a wig.

In the viral video, Chris thought the woman he was on a date with was his elderly fan. But when he learnt that it was his wife, his eyes filled with tears. He also said that even in this look, his wife is ‘still beautiful’ to him. In the episode of Limitless where his diagnosis was revealed, Chris said that his biggest fear is not being able to remember the life he has lived with his wife and children. His doctor in the video also suggested some changes that could lower how fast the disease progresses.
