Now, Chitrangda Singh has also shared her thoughts on the same, and she highlighted why it was difficult in Bollywood. What Did Chitrangda Singh Say About 8-hour Work Shift?

Chitragda Singh will next be seen in Salman Khan’s Maatrubhumi. She recently spoke about the 8-hour work shift, which was advocated by Deepika Padukone. In a conversation with NDTV, the actor said that the 8-hour shift was very difficult in Bollywood, as it is a creative field. She further added that anything could happen on a film set and went on to expand on it. Chitrangda said that many things mattered on a film set, like a shot isn’t ready, the light hasn’t come, it’s raining, or something else.

Chitrangda Singh also spoke about the business side of it, and that was the same in films also. The actor added that if the producer was okay, and further addressed Deepika as a superstar, Chitrangda, “she can say she’ll work for eight hours and why not?” However, she further opined that limiting to eight hours was not practical, irrespective of the gender. She further emphasised that the crew members have to bear the brunt of long working hours, and opined that the technicians and lightmen needed more such strict regulations. She added that the actors should come together and ask for better timings and advocate for a better structure for other art departments.
