She has kept her fans and followers on Instagram updated with every step she took against the battle with this deadly disease. The actor does not shy away from speaking her heart out about the topic. She recently posted a picture on her social media account and gave a very powerful and empowering message through it.

On Monday, Chhavi Mittal took to her Instagram account to post two pictures of her flaunting the scars she got from her cancer surgery. She can be seen wearing a beautiful yellow dress with straps on the back side, clearly revealing the scar mark. The picture is enough to speak of her confidence but the actor had more to say in her caption. She chose just the perfect words to share her experience as to how people saw her scar and what she thought about it.

For the caption, Chhavi started by saying that scars are very visible on the outer part of the body but nobody will be able to see the scars that the “bearer’s soul” received. She further went on to say that she finally got the courage to flaunt the scars in a public gathering but did receive some surprising reactions. Chhavi writes how there were some people who flinched at the sight of the scar. Reacting to this she expressed that people who do not have the courage to see that scars, cannot even imagine what she went through. Chhavi also gave a strong message to men saying that they are complete only if they are brave enough to appreciate a woman’s journey to save her assets.

She was also advised to remove the scars, to which Chhavi says that they are a symbol of her victory against Breast Cancer. If she removes them, it will be like “tampering with evidence”.
