Never thought there would come a time when the audience would desperately want a good romantic film. The Saiyaara revolution is not happening often these days, and we continue to put our expectations, and we do have some from Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s first film together, Chand Mera Dil. The film’s trailer is finally here, and the Vivek Soni directorial has left us with some thoughts. Read on to know more about it.
1. Fresh Pair
Well, a good on-screen pair can make a romantic film so much better. And these days, we often find ourselves complaining about the lack of chemistry between the lead pair. However, with Chand Mera Dil, Ananya and Lakshya’s chemistry looks quite promising. The conflicts and the sweet romance look engaging, and we can just hope for the best!
2. The Director
Vivek Soni has directed some interesting romantic dramas like Aap Jaisa Koi and Meenakshi Sundareshwar, to name a few. The director has an engaging way of telling the story, and always explores his characters in depth. So we are putting our faith in him!

3. The Kabir Singh 2.0 Vibes
The trailer gives a glimpse of some major conflicts between the on-screen pair but does not reveal much about them. However, looks like Lakshya’s character Aarav deals with major anger issues, which reminds us of Kabir Singh.

4. The Story
The narrative of Chand Mera Dil is still quite unclear, considering trailers often give out key details about the plot, most of the time. The film’s story is by Vivek Soni, and the screenplay is co-written by Tushar Paranjape. We are hoping that the narrative breaks out from the overdone toxic relationship tropes, which are quite popular in Hindi cinema today.
5. The Music
We really hope that Chand Mera Dil comes up with some really exciting and emotion-provoking songs! We need it!
