The internet was surprised to see actor Blake Lively walk the steps of the Met Gala 2026 in New York City. She came in wearing an archival Versace dress just hours after news of her settling her legal war with her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni. Blake Lively made her grand return to the Met Gala in a pastel Atelier Versace gown inspired by the 18-th century Venetan Rocco art and the ‘Fashion is Art’ theme. Her ensemble was a liquid-like, gemstone-embroidered bodice in soft pink, peaches, and lilacs flowed into the sculptural hip ‘bays’ reminiscent of Baroque church details. It was her 130fot train painted like a sunrise meets sunset that stole its show for us. She complied her look with a custom Judith Lerner Couture bag with some artwork made by her children.

Dispute With Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively’s appearance comes just hours after her and Justin Baldoni’s lawyers released a joint statement saying that they had settled two weeks before the trial. The lawsuit started after the actress accused Baldon of s*xual harassment and imappropriate behaviour on the sets of It Ends With Us. After that, the director had filed a competing lawsuit and the duo teeny back-and-fourth leading to their trial. Lively’s trial was dismissed in 2025 and her allegations of harassment, defamation, and conspiracy claims were dropped by a judge from her lawsuit.
