Recently BLACKPINK made headlines due to their controversial tenth debut anniversary celebration. After the special gathering ended, short video clips showed member Jisoo wiping tears in a car. Those images spread fast across the internet and made many wonder if the group might soon break up.

Not long afterward, Jisoo shared a personal note, addressing the group’s meet-and-greet and her recent solo event. She explained that this trip marked her first visit to Beijing since a family holiday during middle school. She thanked everyone who came to greet her. She noted that the four members found it hard to speak freely the day before because some thoughts stay private while others remain safe to share. Still, she wanted fans to understand that all four members care deeply for their fans and see them as truly special.
Jisoo also addressed the videos of her crying. She said many people seemed surprised to see her shed tears and joked that she is a normal person rather than a machine. She asked fans not to apply extra meanings to those tears. The singer and actor simply felt a mix of strong feelings during the tenth anniversary celebration.
