Salman Khan not only addressed the trolls who comment on his body and hair, but he also defended people from the film fraternity who are constantly subjected to the same. Now, joining the list of people who supported Salman Khan for taking a stand against haters, Vivek Oberoi also reportedly backed the actor. Know all about it below!
Vivek Oberoi Supports Salman Khan
Vivek Oberoi was recently seen spending time with children battling cancer at the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA)’s event. There, he was asked about Salman Khan calling out trolls on Bigg Boss 20’s Weekend Ka Vaar. He told Bollywood Chronicle that he thinks that people should not troll, as this is a very negative thing, and there are a lot of positive things to do in life. He asked why get caught up in negativity. It’s worth noting that back in 2003, Vivek and Salman were feuding, which was related to Aishwarya Rai. The Omkara star held a press conference where he claimed that the Partner star had called him multiple times and threatened him over being linked with the Devdas actor. However, Salman reportedly denied the allegations. Vivek later expressed that holding a press conference was a mistake. Last year, he reportedly said that he had moved past the bitterness surrounding the matter.
What Did Salman Khan Say To Trolls?
During the recent Bigg Boss 20 weekend ka vaar, Salman Khan raised his voice against haters for mocking celebrities. He seemingly defended Katrina Kaif after she was trolled for her weight gain after pregnancy. During the same, he also reacted to trolls who had body-shamed him by removing his T-shirt and showing off his physique. Additionally, Salman also reportedly explained that his bald look was for his films and was also linked to someone’s death. The actor labelled trolls as “parasites”.
