Bharti Singh Issues Apology After Facing Backlash For Joking About Different Kinds Of Beards And Moustaches
Having written entertainment stories for a while now, I have realised that celebrities and controversies go hand-in-hand. Some actor comments on an issue, and people will get offended and call out the actor. Or if it is a general comment, people will twist it so as to make it sound like the actor has hurt their sentiments. The recent star who has received backlash for her comments is Bharti Singh. A video of the actor-comedian is doing rounds wherein she has spoken about the different kinds of beards and moustaches and her comments have made people think that she has targeted the Punjabi community and made fun of them. Bharti has issued an apology for the same.
Bharti Singh Apologises For Her Comments
In one of the recent episodes of her show Bharti Ka Show, she made fun of the different kinds of beards and moustaches and that having them is quite beneficial. One of her comments was that many of her friends have gotten married to men who have beards and they spend their day removing lice from them. She has received backlash as people have assumed she is talking about the men of the Punjabi community and she has made fun of them.

Bharti has taken to her Instagram to issue an apology video for her comments. She has urged people to watch the video as she has not mentioned any caste in her comments. She went on to say that despite this if people are offended then she offers her apology with folded hands. She went on to say that she is a Punjabi herself and is proud of being a Punjabi.

Meanwhile, on the personal front, Bharti welcomed a baby boy with her husband Harch Limbachiyaa.
