Since the last few days, actress Bhagyashree’s name has taken over the internet after a video of her promoting lassi at a local shop in Kashi went viral. Many reportedly alleged that she did not drink the glass of lassi because it contained sugar and fats. Now shedding light on the situation, the actress called out the trolls. What Did Bhagyashree Say?
Bhagyashree took to her Instagram and shared a video of herself having lassi at a local shop in Kashi. In that she mentioned that it was refreshing during the summer and also aided digestion. In the caption, the Maine Pyaar Kiya star stated she had been up since 3 am to do the mangala aarti, after which she walked down the Gangaghats in a lot of heat, during which the lassi served as the energy booster she needed. Bhagyashree mentioned that it was sprinkled with dry fruits on top and she liked the crunch. Further, she also pointed out that salted or sweet is a matter of choice and for those who are diabetic, having the sweetened lassi would not be the right choice. She highlighted that curd contains calcium, protein and probiotics, adding that the sugar/jaggery gives energy & water hydrates the body. The actress stated that for her it was the perfect combination in the heat of 40 degree.

Bhagyashree Questions Trolls!
In the captions Bhagyashree pointed out that there is a video of the said moment being labeled as fake promotions. Addressing people who trolled her, the actress asked if they were there? If there was someone who thought that she wouldn’t have the lassi because it was sweet while the video was being recorded. She also asked if their mothers never fed them lassi during the summers. She then stated, “Fake toh aaddha video, aadhi knowledge ke saath upload karna hota hein.” Bhagyashree also stated that one doesn’t earn by promoting local foods, but the good thing is that the local vendors get support. The actress concluded the caption by saying that it was a shame that the idle minds didn’t have anything nice to say even about the simple things. She mentioned that Kashi was the palace of purity and the troll’s rant was insignificant.
