Kate Winslet has hit headlines for two reasons in a row – one, for her performance in the recently released film, Avatar 2, and two, for her take on being a senior actress in the industry. In a video clip that has gone viral on social media, Kate is heard talking about how nobody looked out for her when she was a young actress, and how she’s sharing her ‘wisdom’ with the younger generation of actors today. Her wise words were met with appreciation from Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anushka Sharma, both of whom have taken to their Instagram stories to share that video clip and give her a shoutout!

International magazine People shared a video of Kate Winslet talking about being a senior actress. She said that she had some great role models but no one consistently looked out for her. But today, they are always looking out for the younger actors. She also gave out a strong and positive message to all senior actors by saying that they should cut out all the white noise about not belonging in the industry.

The 47-year-old actress also shed light on making mistakes because that is how one learns. She also said that she is appreciating the moment as she is able to share the little pieces of wisdom that she has gathered along the way.
Kareena Kapoor Khan took to the Gram to re-share this video and captioned it by writing, “Kate (red heart emoji) just the best!” Anushka Sharma, too, took to her social media handle to share Kate’s video and captioned it by writing, “She said it (white heart emoji).”
