Arjun Bijlani will never shy away from taking a stand for his friends and for himself. He and Mouni Roy previously became the talk of the internet after being spotted together during an outing. The rumours about them possibly dating took over; however, Arjun dismissed it quickly and also called out people for spreading such rumours. Now looking back at it, the actor revealed why he decided to speak out at the time.
Arjun Bijani On Dismissing Dating Rumours With Mouni Roy
While conversing with Telly Talk India, Arjun Bijani stated that at first he decided to ignore the dating rumours involving Mouni Roy. However, he decided to speak up after people close to him reacted to the speculations. The actor revealed that he and Mouni have gone out for dinner together 50 times. He stated that they have gone out and chilled together alone as well. Arjun stated after coming across their dating rumours, their friend Krystal D’Souza called them “nonsense.” He shared that people who knew them commented on the post, which is what made him feel that if his friends were speaking up, and he didn’t, it would be wrong. According to the actor, it was only fair to set the record straight and call out what he felt was a “stupid” narrative.

Arjun Bijlani Feels Someone Is Trying To Defame Mouni Roy
Further in the interview, Arjun Bijlani revealed feeling that someone has been trying to defame Moni Roy. However, he didn’t know who exactly. He acknowledged that the actress is going through a tough phase in life. He recalled that initially people commented on her s*xuality, then something about her drinking. The actor stated that everyone goes to parties and enjoys, which is normal. His wife, Neha Swamy, also reportedly dismissed Arjun and Mouni’s dating rumours, stating that she was also supposed to join them during the dinner, but she just happened not to go. For the unversed, both the actors have been friends for a long time and have also worked together in Naagin.
As far as Mouni Roy goes, she and her husband Suraj Nambiar previously revealed that they were parting ways.
