Archana Puran Singh Recalls Being Asked To Record Laughter Soon After Mother-In-Law’s Death. Kaam Toh Kaam Hota Hai

I have often heard people criticising the job of a judge on any comedy show. Some too believe that their presence absolutely makes no difference and just laughing is such an easy job to pull off. Archana Puran Singh’s revelation in one of her interviews will make us all realise that this is not the case. Laughter is an emotion that is very hard to express, and Archana Puran Singh has opened up about an incident when she asked to laugh right after she lost her mother-in-law. She is currently co-judging The Indian Laughter Challenge with Shekhar Suman

It is shocking to hear about such an incident. Archana recalled this incident from the time when she was a judge on Comedy Circus. In the interview, Archana said that she was very close to her mother-in-law and was halfway shooting the show when she heard about her ultimate death. She further states that when she told the production team about the same and asked to leave, they wanted her to first record her laughter and reactions. Remembering the traumatic times, Archana Puran Singh said that she laughed but her mind was blank and all she could think about was her mother-in-law’s face, as per the interview given to ETimes TV.

Archana Singh also opened up about another incident when she recorded her laughter reactions while her son fractured his leg, that too far from home in England, She says that as a mother she would definitely not want to give such happy reactions. Archana reveals that she was crying from inside but could not show that on her face because the work demanded her to laugh.
