In India, it has become very normal and common for parents to not allow their daughters to wear certain clothes and prefer them to stay indoors after dark. Well, the reasons may differ; however, most of the time, fathers aim to protect their daughters from any danger. Speaking on a similar note, In a recent interview, Anita Hassanandani opened up about her relationship with her strict father and how he didn’t allow her sister to wear tight clothes.

Anita Hassanandani On Having Restrictions At Home
In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, hosted by Siddharth Aalambayan, Anita Hassanandani opened up about having a strict father. She said, “My dad was crazy strict; you won’t believe it. Like, no plans after 7 pm, nothing, no going anywhere. My sister was not allowed to stand in the balcony. I come from that background to becoming an actress who is out there and sitting here and giving this crazy interview. So, for my sister, don’t stand in the balcony; don’t wear tight-legged clothes. I think only girls are always told that. Don’t wear such types of clothes, or don’t do that. So, my sister, I still remember when I was small, my dad said, No, you are not wearing tight clothes.”

She further also shared how her relationship with her father was. “We were not very close, but close enough. Like, I used to get what I asked very easily. I was in one of the better schools; you know like how parents always want to put you in the best school, so my demands were like that. Like, this is what I want. So, he would just make it up a point like, even if he did less for himself, he gave me whatever I asked for. He was very protective, very loving, and he was amazing.”
