‘An Action Hero’ Trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana Pairs Up With Jaydeep Ahlawat To Serve A Dark Crime Comedy!
Ayushmann Khurrana is known to pick the most unconventional roles to portray on the big screen. His movies like Bala, Andhadhun, Dream Girl and Doctor G are proof of it! He has established his image as the actor who will pick movies that have the most quirky and eccentric characters, and it looks like his upcoming film An Action Hero is yet another film of this type. The movie is a dark crime comedy that also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a prominent role alongside it. The film is directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Anand L Rai. The trailer of An Action Hero was dropped on November 11, 2022.

From the two-minute-44-seconds-video, it looks like Ayushmann plays an actor who does a lot of action films in the movie. He has a huge fan following and people throng to have pictures clicked with him when they spot him in public. But it looks like he is a morally grey hero. The trailer begins with Jaydeep Ahlawat grabbing Ayushmann by the collar and asking him about the whereabouts of Vicky, who I assume is his brother, the man who died when Ayushmann was shooting for a film in his village.

The rest of the trailer is a cat-and-mouse chase where Ayushmann is been chased by Jaydeep who wants to know about Vicky’s death. It looks like the second half of the film is shot in the UK because Khurrana is been chased by the UK police, too! Suddenly, all the love from the fans turns to hate as people are boycotting his films because of his apparent involvement in a murder.
The trailer of the film also gives a glimpse of Malaika Arora who will be seen in a special dance sequence! Super excited to see her as well! Apart from her, we could not spot any other actress in the movie. Hmm…interesting!

All-in-all, the film looks comically intense, action-packed, and suspenseful! Also, it looks like Ayushmann is not as clean as he is making it out to be. He is involved in a scandal, for sure! But that is the surprise element of his films, na? Like in Andhadhun, you do not know what to expect until the very last second of the film! An Action Hero releases in theatres on December 2, 2022.
